Truth Be Told - the Primrose Process
Sometimes you need to give a bit of a push to get the truth out of someone. This is a spell you can do to help give that little nudge.
Items Needed:
• Poppet with opening (or cloth and twine or needle and thread to make your own)
• Large plate or platter
• 3 Purple candles
• Primrose
• Scullcap
• White roses
• Commanding Oil
• Sodalite crystal
Take your poppet (or your cloth to form the poppet) and place the Sodalite crystal, primrose and scullcap in the head of the poppet. Sodalite is an excellent crystal to get the truth. Primrose compels the target to be truthful. We’re adding the scullcap to also promote fidelity. We want the target to feel loyal to us and therefore want us to know the truth.
We’re placing these items in the head of the poppet so as to affect our target’s mind. As you place these things, remember to charge and activate those properties and focus on your target. If baptizing your poppet is part of your practice, then go ahead and do that now. Once baptized, anoint the poppet with commanding oil, reminding the target they must comply.
Dress the purple candles with the Commanding Oil. If you’d like, you can also choose to carve your command or intention onto the candles.
Take your platter and place the poppet in the center. Position the 3 purple dressed candles in a triangle formation surrounding the poppet. Lastly, lay the white roses (whole or petals) around the outer ends of the plate.
The white roses promote loyalty as well as purity. Again, we want the target to feel loyalty to us, making it easier to compel them to tell us the truth, promoted not just by the primrose, but also by the properties of purity from the white roses. Light the candles and allow them to burn completely down.
If you observe planetary correspondences, Thursday would be the recommended day to perform this spell as this is the day of Jupiter. Jupiter promotes the truth. You can take it one step further and perform it during the hour of Jupiter, if you so choose.
